I rarely write reviews good or bad, but we stay at La Quinta's frequently with our pet going back and forth from Boston to FL. The room we had last night absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke. They repeatedly stated they are 100% smoke free, but as a former smoker from years ago, I know for a fact someone had been smoking alot in Rm 120. The entire room needs to be steam cleaned and the AC filters changed before the next customer suffers and wakes up with red eyes, stuffy nose and luggage smelling of cigarettes. Also, watch out they don't try to nail your credit card claiming you were the one smoking in the room!
Great service. Good breakfast. Clean room. Used facility during hurricane. Perfect spot to stay if you have dogs of any size. No extra charge. Staff are very helpful, friendly and accomodating.
Road weary with NO reservations. PULLED in AT 2am. The night manager very friendly and welcoming. Great clean room, comfy beds, and large. Great biscuits and gravy...a definite return recommendation!!

The clerk at the desk was not friendly or smiling when we checked in. She did not offer to check best price available to us when we handed her the coupon from the hotel discount booklet. We have a La Quinta membership card, AAA, AARP, senior citizen, and I am retired military. The room smelled strongly of disinfectant or deodorizer. When I picked up the bathmat to use, it felt very damp. Then I felt the towels and they seemed damp, too. The carpet felt damp when I walked on it in my barefeet. The sheets felt damp on the bed. It was not a good experience.
