I found out about Debbie by recommendation from my wedding coordinator. I called her shop and she was willing to work with my crazy schedule and met with my mom and I on a Saturday morning before the place was even open. We talked about ideas for the wedding and before I knew it we were done planning because she is just that good. She was extremely organized and in our first meeting we decided on designs for the personal, ceremony, and the reception flowers! I knew that there was no reason to go look anywhere else because I knew that I wanted her to be a part of our wedding day. She went above and beyond what was required of her. The flowers on the day of the wedding were gorgeous. There is absolutely no way that I would have changed a single thing. I highly recommend Debbie and her beautiful flowers. The wedding was in April and I enjoy looking at all of the beautiful photos despite the fact that the pictures don't show how magnificent they looked in person. I love Debbie and her happy demeanor and fun personality made it a joy to work with her!
Best customer service ever!!! I called in the afternoon asking for a cemetery delivery that day, for my Dad's birthday. Debbie said that even though they were closed, she would handle it for me, personally taking the plant to the cemetery.

Wonderful, caring, honest owner. Could not ask for better service. He had wonderful suggestions and advice! AND, he saved my son from a potentially embarassing moment - as I was calling to order a corsage for my son's college dance date, not knowing that it is taboo on the college level! After reading all the positive reviews I decided to give Marizels a try. The guy I spoke with over the phone was very rude and snappy. He rushed me thru my order and didnt give me any pricing as he went along just an over-inflated total at the end of the call. He even complained about the delivery location. Maybe I should have my family move? Very unprofessional. I would not recommend.
My sister-in-law just had a baby at Lewis Gale hospital and we live nowhere near Salem VA -- we are hundreds of miles away. I just liked the name of the florist and picked it from a list. The delivery guy had already left for the day. Bill said he would make sure to personally deliver the flowers himself and Dawn was thrilled to get them that day! Thanks Bill!!
