When I called Jobe to let them know I felt the note should have been typed I spoke with a defensive, and very curt woman. You can get lovely flowers anywhere...but a neat, legible typed note and polite followup customer service may not be had at Jobe Florist in Roanoke. The only reason I'm giving three stars is because the flowers were beautiful.
All arrangement notes are handwritten here. I wish I had known this. I think they should tell people this when they call to order. I would not have ordered from this florist. Normally, this might not be such a crucial detail. But I ordered special in-casket funeral flowers for a special friend. The message for the card was long. I could hardly read the note. The person's handwriting was hard to read and the card looked unprofessional.

Terrible customer service. We recently went to Jobe for flowers for a funeral. We were treated SO rudely (as if we were bothering the staff) that we left and took our business elsewhere. I have dealt with them before and had the same problem but because they are local and close in proximity thought we would try to order from them again and thought perhaps the previous experience was just a fluke. Apparently they are just rude as a general rule. Perhaps they should start being kind and at least polite to their customers or they will see a lot more money walk out their door. I will NEVER give them my business again.
They have done beautiful arrangements before but the service has always been terrible. They have been so rude and unprofessional. Myself and my family were treated very poorly the most recent time we've been there and decided to take our money elsewhere. Would love to have flower arrangements from there but we refuse to give our money to a business who treats their customers so poorly.
