Update: local fans are screaming for teammates from the home team to "kill" opposing team mates.

As a girlfriend from an opposing team, the staff was really nice and helpful. Although I am so disappointed in the rudeness of some of the frequent guests here at the field. The older gentleman behind home plate makes me feel so uncomfortable especially at a place that is meant for families and where many young children are around. I'm not sure what happened to promoting good sportsmanship. I can appreciate competitive banter, but not plain rudeness and disrespect.

Tickets are usually 8-12 bucks for GA and all the seats are individual with seat backs. If you can get a part of about 20 people the price drops to $6 which is hard to beat for 2-3 hours of entertainment.

Typical faire here. The food is expensive, but the portions are generous. Thursday is usually dollar beer night, but the glasses are small so be aware.

Prices:

Such an uncomfortable place to be.

Experience:

Cheap Tickets and Great Entertainment. Obviously you're not going to see the performance of the Boston Red Sox at this stadium, but the Salem Red Sox deliver in other ways. There isn't really a bad seat in the house and the tickets are very affordable even if you want to take a few friends out on the house. If you plan on not really watching the game and mostly wan the atmosphere i would recommend the second deck or sitting behind the net since a stray ball could be dangerous. If you are into the game sitting outside of the netted area on the first section of bleachers is for you, but pay attention because you are really close to the action.

Food and Drink:

If you're a Red Sox fan make sure to stop by the mini Fenway and take some wacks at hitting the ball over the Monster

Great local ball park, cool mountain views and affordable food and drinks! Usually have fireworks in the summer and sometimes they have Bark in the Park where you can bring your dog!

Always disappointed with the staff. They have always been unfriendly. This year is my senior year and my high school principle wanted us to have a fun senior day. They had scheduled to reserve the whole salem field for us and have bouncy houses, a movie on the big screen, field games and lunch. Well when we arrived no one had greeted us in. The field was being sprayed. One pitiful bouncy house on the side of the stadium and cheap yard games. Not to mention the food was cold and over cooked. Never again will I go or even spend money on the baseball games.
