Nice park lots of great fields. There are some cool trails there as well. You can go there and spend a lot of time having fun.

This park is huge. Right next to the river with access for swimming or fishing. There is a bike/walking path. There is a big playground area near the ball fields. Plenty of picnic/grilling spaces, too. It's a very clean park. I wish they had more bathrooms. Other than that, live this park.

Green Hill Park is a great place. It can cater to large groups and couples. It has picnic areas, trails, and water access.

The river bed is very rocky and slippery if you decide to wade into the water be sure to wear water shoes of some variety. Also if you have little ones be mindful of the current , its strength ebbs and flows.

There are only two picnic tables near the water access for the river so if you are planning on sticking around for a picnic you may want to bring your own tables and chairs.

Very nice park. Versatile enough for many different activities from polo to swimming, rc flying to picnics.

Nice facility. Baseball diamonds, soccer fields are nice but not spectacular... the concessions are rarely open. Bathrooms lack a changing table for babies, which seems ridiculous with the amount of families that use this place. Trails are nice. Pavilion down by the Roanoke River gets pounded and can be untidy. Overall, nice park for sporting events or trails but find other river access if you want to fish.
