Some of the nurses were nice. Food was horrible! and the quacks they call doctors they have are the ones that should BE admitted!
Worst doctors EVER!
IOP/night time program is terrible. You are read to for 3 hours a night from worksheets, you may watch a video sometimes that will trigger anyone to relapse and it's a good chance you will be judged by the instructor
If I could go lower I would. This is not a place for voluntary admission although they will accept you. Do not go to this place unless it's that or jail. The nurses wouldn't do anything unless harassed relentlessly, and that may be to no avail because they can never seem to track down a doctor. The doctors do not care about the patients. He or she will spend 5 minutes with you your first day, I'm guessing to fill out his necessary paper work, you will be lucky to see him again. Which is terrible because he is the only one with power to prescribe certain things needed for recovery. They will make you sweat it out, putting you in some of the most intense physical and mental pain I've ever encountered. All while pleading with nurses and maybe, if you're lucky, one doctor who couldn't care less. They will not listen to you and they don't care how bad you're suffering. They're also terrible with dissemination of information. I had to tell at least 10 different people my situation, all with no help whatsoever. The place is also disgusting. Really terrible showers with cold, barely sprinkling, stinky water. The rooms around cold and dirty, the walls covered with stains. The heater in the room(which you may have to share) sounds like a desiel truck flooring it up and steel hill, while dragging cans. The food is disgusting and the group therapy sessions are usually run by the loudest, most manic, inmate; because the therapists don't care or are too afraid to put a stop to it. Beware this place unless jail is your only other option
