This Lowes store is HUGE. They have everything one could ever want for home and garden. I was searching for a hard-to-find bolt to repair the seat on my motorcycle. An employee was present in the department assisting custoners. I had the part that I needed within minutes!
I called to speak to the delivery supervisor who was polite but stated they make their loop and that's what determines the delivery time.
Place the order for delivery and it was going to be 7 days. Okay no problem, we set the delivery for the evening slot today 7/18.
Always love going to this Lowe's! Very friendly, helpful, and feel like I'm getting a good deal!
This morning I get a phone call at 9am stating they would be there in 10 minutes to drop the fridge. In the middle of my work day I had to bolt out to go receive this order.
I've been going to this Lowes for about 3 years now very regularly. I have almost always felt like I was an inconvenience to the employees. I have seen them avoid customers several times. Always seem to be understaffed at the registers as well. They are probably trying to do the best they can but the whole place seems mismanaged.
The two guys who dropped the fridge and did the install were also great.
The employees I dealt with buying and having this delivered were great. Seems like management needs to stop dropping the ball though.
Finally get with the woman and place the order, she was helpful and got us taken care of.
I have yet to go there and NOT find what I was looking for. The associates are friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. If the person you're talking to doesn't know, they will take you to someone who does. My first choice in home improvement supplies. If they sold groceries and automotive supplies, I wouldn't need to shop anywhere else.
Bought a fridge a week ago which in and of itself was a frustration. The poor woman working appliances was alone with troves of people waiting to ask questions and place orders. Mind you this is while they are advertising a huge appliance sale.
If I can afford it I avoid Lowes and go to Northwest Hardware. They are much more helpful and knowledgeable.
Why bother asking what time you'd like it delivered.....
