Best bike shop in the valley. Outstanding customer service. They are honest and trustworthy. They've never tried to upsell me or get me to buy something I didn't need. One of two bike mechanic shops that I trust in the area (the other being Underdog).
I've purchased two bikes here and would very much recommend it to friends. Great people, great products, and exceptional customer service. Best bike shop in the area!
Can not say enough good things about Steve and his staff at JTRG. Extremely helpful folks that are eager to help or give tips on the spot. Have had several experiences where Steve and staff return, exchange, or fix items purchased there (and elsewhere) with zero hassle. Excellent shop and highly recommended!
I forgot to bring my RockShox Maxle with my bike so I went to this shop for help. James, after checking with the owner, agreed to loan it to me for only $5 without me putting down any security deposit. Superb customer service. I could not appreciate more.
All in all, Steve is a great guy and runs a great bike shop.
For a small store they have a good variety, but if you are a budget cyclist, expect to order(especially if its road related). Tons of cool niche mountain bikes but only a few road bikes, which is fine this place is basically the only bike shop in front of a multi-use trail sustem, with an obscene amount of miles of trails to ride(Carvins Cove).
Steve(owner) is a great guy and will do anything, within reason, to make a customer feel appreciated. If you are a new customer to JTRG, you can expect Steve to treat you right, but call in advance just to make sure he is available.
They have mainly higher end bikes, so it may strain a budget if you are looking for something inexpensive. You can get killer deals on the sales though. They are very reasonable for the bikes they carry.
