I could have had her correct what I think she did wrong, but I didn't want her to come near me with scissors for another moment. I'll be going to a different salon to fix my hair.
Went home in tears. I could have done a better job. Which now, I'm going to do it myself. I did, fortunately, get my full amount of money back but I still don't think I will be going back.
I wish I could leave no stars. This was absolutely the worst hair-cutting experience of my life. My stylist didn't smile at me once in the entire time I was in the salon. It took her longer to blow dry my (short) hair than it did for her to cut it. She was desultory, unfriendly, unprofessional, and slap-dash. I was in and out, with a "complete" shampoo, conditioning, cut, and blow dry in under twenty minutes.
I came in for color yesterday and Barbara did foils and made it look awesome, I had just came from getting a trim from another shop that didn't have time to do my color and Barbara ended up going back over it and shaping it and giving me a more thorough cut and it turned out great.(plus she didn't charge for the cut) So even though it is shorter, it looks so much better. I have more body and it looks thicker. My husband loved it and I have gotten many compliments.
Also, the salon is messy, and they use generic cheap products. Don't go here.

I love this place! The staff is wonderful! And do such a great job! You also can't beat the price! I highly recommend West Main Hair Salon!
My daughter loved my hair and she went and got her's trimmed today...she never cuts her hair but needed it badly...looks awesome. She layered it and gave it shape. She is really good w that.
